Mariam Jammal is a newly licensed Canadian Immigration lawyer based in Toronto, focusing on business immigration and working with seasoned and prospective entrepreneurs across the globe. As a recent graduate from the University of Windsor – Faculty of Law, Mariam has placed a heavy emphasis on accessibility and access to justice in her academic and professional career. During law school, Mariam was heavily engaged with her community and held positions with the Windsor Chapter of the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers, the Women of Colour Legal Alliance of Windsor, and the collaborative “See Yourself Here” initiative aimed at empowering black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) youth to pursue careers in law. She is also a strong advocate of more meaningful equity and inclusion initiatives in law school and within the legal profession and she is committed to bringing this same passion and focus to her work with her clients.
